Ordered some CCI small pistol primers (32.99/1000) about a 10 days ago ( out of stock ) and they shipped today. UNIQUE powder says due into Cabella's 1/30/10

Since Cabela's decided to put a store in my home state of Indiana (4 hours from my house, 1-way) they are now required to collect sales tax. With the sales tax and the shipping, Cabela's pricing can't compete with my local firearms supplier on reloading accessories.

That 8lb jug ordered from Cabella's 1st week of January finally showed up today. They emailed me couple times to ask if I wanted to cancel the order....I said no....I'd already paid the hazmat fee, so if I canceled and ordered somewhere else, I'd have to pay it again....so, no....I'll just wait.

2 1/2 months for a jug of powder.....wow.....

Couldn't you find a couple of buddies to go in and buy powder with you and reduce the hazmat fee??? We always make bulk orders with 4 or five guys to cut down on hazmat if we have to order online or via catalog. Otherwise, we buy local as needed and avoid hazmat all together. I get Accurate and IMR for $20ish a lb local versus $50+ via catalog.
